Estefania started her media career at Suffolk Community College where she received her Associates Degree in Applied Science-Radio and Television. During her time at Suffolk, she became part of Suffolk's Broadcasters Club and Suffolk Radio. She served as a production assistant creating various segments to inform and entertain listeners. She also served as the promotion manager organizing events and training new team members. Later on, Estefania started as an intern at JVC from July-Oct 2019. During this time, she was able to get a better grasp of how Radio works. By shadowing on-air talents at JVC, a spark turned on that made her want to pursuit a career just like theirs. After her internship ended, she left JVC to be part of Connoisseur Media in their promotions department. Estefania organized and worked events from Oct 2019 - April 2020. In May 2021, Estefania decided to come back to JVC Broadcasting as a part-timer in the promotions department again. Her work, organization, and creativity gave her the opportunity to soon become the Promotions Coordinator. She loves to interact with listeners and make all appearances as successful as possible. However, she still had that fire within her that wanted to be on-air as well. Two of her mentors and co-workers saw the potential that she had and gave her an opportunity... the opportunity to have her own show! Born in NY but growing up in Honduras, Estefania is proud to represent Latinos on Long Island. Estefania is now joining the La Fiesta 98.5Fm as an On-Air personality weeknights from 6PM-10PM. She will spice things up at La Fiesta with unique segments, entertainment and a daily mix with DJ Futuro.
