DJ KAZZANOVA

As Latin music collides with the mainstream on today’s charts, it’s Kazzanova who sits at the helm. Since the early 2000s, Kazzanova has been an innovator and groundbreaking visionary in reggaeton, Latin urban, and remixing. The DJ, radio personality, and producer’s latest single, “Savage Mode” has accumulated more than 13 million streams on Spotify and appeared on Beatport’s “Best New Big Room” list in December 2017. Kazzanova’s fiery determination and inexhaustible energy are greatly influenced by his roots in New York City. In 2001, he started the successful “El Reggaeton de NY” radio show and from there, launched what became the most listened to Latin Urban radio station in the U.S., La Kalle 105.9FM on Univision Radio. In 2005, Kazzanova was invited to host, produce, and mix on the nation’s first syndicated Latin Urban mix-show, Subelo! on L.A.’s Power 106. The show quickly spread to nearly two-dozen markets including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, Dallas, and Miami. With a style that hits on everything from reggaeton to bachata and salsa to hip-hop, Kazzanova has worked with major record labels including Interscope, Universal, Def Jam, and Cutting Records. He was the creative force behind remixes for Shakira’s “Hips don’t lie”, Gwen Stefani’s “Rich Girl”, Usher’s “Yeah” and many more. When Kazzanova isn’t on the air or in the studio, you’ll find him at the hottest clubs in NYC or taking his talents on the road. He’s performed around the globe in cities like London, Tokyo, Toronto, Geneva, Zurich, and many in Latin America. Since day one, Kazzanova has delivered a new sound and style of mixing that NYC, and soon the entire country, would be dancing to. When it’s time for the realness, look to Kazzanova – the original reggaeton trailblazer and #1 open format DJ in the game.

DJ CYS

As a young Latino, raised in the Bronx, DJ CYS (pronounce "Sice") developed a great reputation for his immense personality, ambition, and amazing taste in music. At the age of twelve, Cys always thought about what it would be like to become one of the greatest DJs in his city. However, he never imagined that his DJ skills and name would eventually gain recognition in the New York Boroughs and eventually travel outside the streets of New York. Throughout the years, Cys became well known for his mix-tapes and CDs. He gained a vast majority of popularity on the internet through websites such as Google and EBay. As a result, his hard-working demeanor and skills have landed him gigs nationwide, such as in Florida (Tavern on the Lake, Destiny, several Boat Rides), Massachusetts, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, especially here in New York.

As a young boy, Cys was inspired by the sounds of DJ Skribble, Funk master Flex, Jam Master Jay (R.I.P), Red Alert, and many more. Cys would often play with his father's record player (with a built-in 8-track) and scratch his vinyl LPs. One day Cys had the opportunity to transform his dream to reality, and he began experimenting with his friend’s DJ set. He began to practice DJing with the same Latin Hip-Hop (a.k.a. “Freestyle”) and House music records time and time again. The capabilities were limited because of the cost of buying records, but he would eventually manage to purchase his own Hip-Hop vinyl. Eventually, the possibilities began to grow, and his knowledge for music began to expand.

As the years progressed, he performed his first party at the age of sixteen. This life changing moment would eventually lead from the traditional house parties to playing "live" at the Tunnel Nightclub in 1997. Cys would end up being invited to perform at various venues, such as The Tunnel, Lime Light (Avalon), Ohm, The Copacabana, Adrenaline, The Intrepid (The Intrepid Ship, special events for the N.Y.P.D.), China Club, Club Exit, Chazz, Wild Palms, Paddle Wheel Queen, Queen of Hearts, Webster Hall, Jimmy's Bronx Cafe, Latin Quarters, Jet Set Cafe (Luna), and many more.

Over the years, Cys has become more focused and dedicated about his DJ career. For him, “the music industry is not just for fun and games, it about being passionate, enjoying what you do, and loving music in every way. It is a way of life.” Being a New York City DJ is an exciting job, and he embraces every opportunity to continue his dream. When he gets behind that DJ booth, he transforms his energy onto the crowd, which is amazing to witness. His love for music lead him to produce remixes of his favorite songs, which can be heard on the Radio airwaves or are being played by other DJs at various Nightclubs. DJ CYS’s talent and ambition to move a live crowd will continue to have him recognized as one of New York's most favorite DJ.
